Who We Are

It all begins with an idea.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our Professional Developmemt program has created a pathway for young middle school students by providing them with essential skills and knowledge necessary for their future success. It includes a variety of workshops and hands-on activities designed to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. By partnering with professionals, local organizations and schools, the initiative ensures that students receive mentorship from professionals who inspire and guide them in achieving their academic and career goals.

Furthermore, the program emphasizes the importance of cultural heritage and identity, encouraging students to take pride in their backgrounds while fostering a sense of community and belonging. Through interactive sessions and collaborative projects, students are able to explore their potential, build confidence, and develop a resilient mindset that prepares them for the challenges ahead.

By providing access to resources and opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable, the Professional Development Program not only aims to bridge the educational gap but also to cultivate a generation of empowered, informed, and socially conscious individuals.

Advisory Board

  • Gregory Mayo

At Tres Sueños Morados Foundation, we believe mentorship is where transformation begins, when one person’s knowledge and care light the path for another’s dreams. That’s why we are honored to welcome Gregory “Greg” Mayo to our Advisory Board, whose lifelong commitment to guidance and community perfectly reflects our mission.

This past spring of 2025, Greg joined Tres Sueños Morados at Webster Upper School in Lawrence, MA, to lead a conversation with students about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how technology is shaping the world around them. Through his storytelling and insight, he inspired students to see themselves as future innovators, reminding them that curiosity and learning can unlock endless possibilities.

Greg brings over 25 years of professional experience as a computer scientist architecting Artificially Intelligent systems, but what truly defines him is his heart for service. For more than four years, he has mentored with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, offering consistent support and encouragement to youth while even producing a fundraising video during the pandemic to sustain their mission. He also volunteers with Big Families Little Families of Lawrence, where he actively supports events and is currently helping produce a live awareness event centered around music, using art to spark connection and understanding.

His passion for mentoring, creativity, and building community aligns beautifully with the values of Tres Sueños Morados Foundation: to empower BIPOC middle school students through mentorship, leadership, and professional development. Greg’s voice on our Advisory Board strengthens our vision of nurturing confident, inspired youth across the Merrimack Valley.

Welcome, Greg. Your dedication to giving back and guiding others reminds us that mentorship isn’t just about teaching; it’s about believing in the dreams of those who will shape the future.
